While working as a graphic designer at San Jose City College, a community college in Silicon Valley, California, I was asked to design a bifold and a Trifold strategic plan. The plan basically showed the commitments and goals that school promised to achieve in five years from 2019-2024. These brochures were used in school advertising campaigns and also around the campus.
Trifold brochure included a brief introduction that provided little information and school plans. School mainly used it in school fair to advertise and target potential students.
Bifold brochure provided the same information, but more detailed for whom wanted to explore the school education system. They were mostly placed around the school faculties as well as parents to refer.
Step1: I drafted three layouts with different images that show the diversity and school achievements. Purple and yellow were used as the main color theme.
Step 2: School decided to pick the last design because the image shows the diversity of the school. The design also presents the school development.
Step 3: Created a bifold brochure has the same design as the trifold but has more details and more images. The size will be 11 x 17 inches.
